In this rare historic footage from the 3rd of November, 1952, we see rare insight into early children's television, in this case NBC's "Howdy Doody". Highlights include: Clarabell the Clown causing mischief; Several male and female children being asked what they'd do if they were elected President of the USA; Two commercials for 5th Avenue candy bars; and the ever-popular NBC-TV ID.

A catalog site for Classic TV shows
If you like Classic TV from of the 50's, I found a catalog site that makes it easy to find and watch episodes streaming from Archive.org at:
The Classic TV Channel
There are currently over 400 individual episodes of about 30 different programs, and the site is growing day by day. Check it out!

Why
I give these uploads such titles because otherwise nobody would download them. Look at the "Life with Elizabeth" episodes I uploaded, nobody downloaded them because I gave them such bland descriptions.

Thanks, but...
While I appreciate the Howdy Doody uploads, is it really necessary to emphasize titles with "Rare Historic Footage", "Better than HBO" and "Artistic Masterpiece"? I appreciate the poster's enthusiasm, but I think the title and date is sufficient detail. BTW, what does "Masterpoxen." mean?
